Recently, Twitter talked about coming up with audio-tweet-feature that itself is one-of-a-kind feature for users.

The Audio Tweets Feature From Twitter

With the latest tweet from Twitter, it’s been defined that there are always scope of improvements. On condition that either you can see the gap & try to fill it or simply just look deeper.

The update had been rolled out yesterday when the company itself took it to Twitter & made the announcement. Apart from the traditional ways of typing your tweets & posting them on your page, now you can Tweet your voice as well. Yeah!!

From now on, you can make people listen to your voice as a tweet on your profile. You can record your audio snippets & make them available on your Twitter page easily now. The announcement & update from Twitter, Tweet-audio-feature is available on iOS (rolled out today) platform for now. Start recording & tweeting with audio instead of typing the words in the first place.

Over the years, photos, videos, gifs, and extra characters have allowed you to add your own flair and personality to your conversations. But sometimes 280 characters aren’t enough and some conversational nuances are lost in translation. So starting today, we’re testing a new feature that will add a more human touch to the way we use Twitter – your very own voice.

Tweeting with your voice is not too different from Tweeting with text. To start, open the Tweet composer and tap the new icon with wavelengths. How to Use Tweet Your Audio Feature:

Now that we know tweeting your audio is a quite cool feature to have, let’s get to know the specifics of it.

Like the time limitation that is up to 140 seconds on tweeting audio on Twitter. How this works is that once you start recording the tweet, & reach the time limit, automatically a new voice Tweet starts & creates a thread. And as soon as you’re done, click on the Done button & end the recording. Now as simple as, go back to the composer screen to Tweet.

Note = Recently, one of the American Comedian & the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon recorded his audio tweet.

Compatibility of Tweet Your Audio Feature:

Since the Tweet-Audio feature from Twitter is quite cool, everyone would want it as soon as possible. However, the rolling out process will take a bit of time for smooth transitions. For now, the feature has been rolled out for iOS platform only. The timeline for the other platforms like Android hasn’t been finalized yet. However, it can be available for other users as well.

The playback will start in a new window docked at the bottom of your timeline and you can listen as you scroll. You can also keep listening while doing other things on your phone or on the go.

Audio Tweets

On the above screenshot, you can see the audio playback is being played at the bottom of the screen. Other users would need to just click on the post & the audio tweet will get started. Simple as that!!
