The process to delete numbers from Truecaller has been divided into two sections, wherein the “Truecaller unlist number” will be followed by “deactivating the number”.

1. Let’s start with the first section of “deactivating the number”:

A. Open the App on your device and click on the 3 lined menu (top left corner).

B. Click on the “Settings” option at the bottom of the list.

C. Once you click on Settings, choose the option “Privacy Centre”

 D. Now scroll down and tap on “Deactivate” to disable number from Truecaller.

The above process will help you deactivate the Truecaller listed number from the app.

2. Now check out “How to remove & unlist number from Truecaller”:

How Much Time Does It Take To Unlist?

Please know that the company claims to remove and unlist the number within 24 hours as it doesn’t happen just by tapping on the option. The Truecaller unlisting number takes a bit of time. However, this doesn’t say that your Truecaller details have vanished from the app server.

As a Plan of Action, what you can do is “keep checking with your friends or family members if they are able to see any details on the app when they check your number.”
