1. Reinstall Podcasts App –

This workaround did not work for all, but it is worth trying.

  1. Touch and hold the Podcasts app icon.
  2. Tap Remove App.

  5. If this doesn’t help and the battery percentage still goes down, you can reinstall the Podcasts App and use it. Now, move to the next fix.

2. Disable AirPlay –

When not using music, disabling AirPlay is suggested. Doing so will help conserve battery usage.

  1. Open Control Center (swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen).
  2. Choose either Screen Mirroring or Music widget.
  3. Tap Stop AirPlay or Stop Mirroring.
