Best Way to Organize Photos and Delete Duplicate Photos
Before getting to the solution and understanding how to clean duplicates and free up space. Let us understand how duplicates are created.
Reasons for duplicate images
Here is the list of common reasons due to which duplicate pictures are created.
- Imported photos more than once
- Saving same images at different locations
- Restoring a backup from several devices
Why use a Photo Organizer and not a Duplicate Photo Cleaner?
I am not against any product. In fact, before using the Photo Organizer tool I had a Duplicate photo removal tool. However, after using Photo Organizer, a tool that helps in organizing digital images and cleaning duplicates, I am in love with it.
As the name explains, this tool helps manage images in a categorical form. Moreover, it allows marking photos as favorites, scanning the whole PC or a specific folder. Anyone, be it a beginner or an advanced user, can use it without any problem.
Developed by Tweaking Technologies, Photo Organizer, is the best photo management and duplicate photo finder tool. It does what it promises and does it well.
Alongside managing images, Photo Organizer also allows you to create albums, organize pictures by Date Taken, put them in an organized folder, and more.
How Does a Photo Organizer Work?
To organize photos accurately Photo Organizer compares metadata of each image, this helps put images in the proper folder. Metadata is the digital information – device details, date, location, and others stored in each image.
While organizing this information proves to be a boon but when hackers get their hands on it, the same is a bane. Therefore, before uploading any picture online to stay safe remember to remove this data, for this, you can use Photos EXIF editor.
Photo Organizer easily sorts images and gives the option to clear duplicates before managing images.

Here are the steps to organize photos using Photo Organizer:
Step 1: Download and Install Photo Organizer.
Step 2: Launch the tool. You will now see a window with two options:-

- Delete Duplicate Photos from source folders – this one is my favorite as I can delete duplicates alongside organizing images. All deleted photos will be moved to the Recycle Bin.
