Step 1: Run the program OpenIV.

Step 2: Choose Windows under the option of GTA V.

Step 3: Help the OpenIV search look for the GTA V .EXE file. In order to do so, click on browse and choose the folder where you have installed the GTA 5 on your PC. In my case it is the Drive C > Epic Game Install > GTA V.

Step 4: Let the application search for encryption key.

2.   ScriptHookV:

Script Hook V is another important prerequisite that needs to be installed on the PC. To download ScriptHookV, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Go to the Website and click Download to download the Zip file of Script Hook V.

Step 2: Open the zip file and open folder named BIN.

Step 3: Copy the File named DINPUT8.DLL & SCRIPTHOOKV.DLL and Ignore NativeTrainer file.

Step 4: Paste the files into the GTA V installation folder i.e. the folder in which GTA 5 is installed.

Note: If while copying the files to GTA V folder, you see the option that the file is already there in the folder, don’t replace the file and skip it. Make sure you don’t replace it because it may break the game and you may have to reinstall the game itself.

3.   Community Script Hook V.Net:

Though the name sounds similar to the 2^nd Prerequisite on the list, it is different. However, the procedure is pretty similar to install this one as well. Follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Go the Website and click the Download button.

Step 2: Clicking on Download Button will take you to the next page where you will have to click on ScriptHookVDotNet.Zip to download the file. Click on Save File if prompted.

Step 3: Open the Zip file and Copy only the files named:

1. asi
2. dll
3. dll

Note: Make sure you copy the files with right extension name as above not the XML or TXT files.

Step 4: Paste the files into the GTA V Folder and you are done.
