1. With your device, make sure that your microphone works properly.

3. After this, click on tools available on the taskbar and click on voice typing. A microphone box will appear after clicking on Voice typing.
4. Click on the microphone, when you are ready with the content start speaking.
5. Make sure that you speak clearly with a normal pace and volume. (You can check the information in the microphone box)
6. Click on the microphone again when you are done.
How to correct mistakes while Google Voice typing
Follow the below-mentioned points to correct mistakes while Google Voice typing:
- In case you have made a mistake while using Google Docs dictation or typing the content, you just have to simply move the cursor towards the mistake without even turning off the microphone.
- Once you have made changes to the mistake, you can move the cursor back from where you wish to continue. Additionally, you can see the list of suggestions; all you need to do is, right-click on the underlined words with grey color.
- You can do all these things without turning off the microphone of the Google doc.

You just have to speak the phrases of punctuations to add while Google voice typing. You can dictate the phrases like:
