How To Install and Add Netflix to Kodi?
Here’s how you can install Netflix on Kodi using the CastagnaIT repository that has Netflix. We’ll be breaking the process into three parts. In the first part, we’ll add the source, in the second part we will install the CastagnaIT Repository. In the third part, we will install the Netflix Kodi Addon.
Please note – We’d also recommend you to stay with us till the end as we’ll discuss how to stream content safely on your Kodi. To begin with, we’d advise you to not stream any copyrighted material.
I – Add A Repository Source
Step 1 – Head to this page. Scroll down, and click on the device you want to install Kodi on. Download Kodi on your device, run the installation file, and follow the on-screen instructions. For this post, we have downloaded it for the Windows 11 (64-bit) operating system.
Step 2 – Once you have Kodi installed and running on your device, click on the Settings icon at the top.
Step 3 – On the next screen, click on System.
Step 4 – From the left-hand side, click on Add-ons, and then toggle on the switch next to Unknown sources on the right.
Step 5 – When the Warning pop-up appears, click on Yes. To go back press the backspace key on your keyboard.
Step 6 – Select File Manager.
Step 7 – Click on Add source.
Step 8 – Select <None>
Step 9 – On the next screen copy and paste https://castagnait.github.io/repository.castagnait in the Enter the paths or browse for the media locations. Click on the OK button.
Step 10 – In the next step, you can go ahead with the existing name under Enter a name for this media source. Or, you can pick a name of your choice.
Step 11 – Let’s proceed with repository.castagnait
Step 12 – Click on OK to continue.
Now, we’re done with the first part i.e. adding the source.
II – Installing The Repository
Step 1 – Again, click on the Settings icon on the home page.
Step 2 – Click on Add-ons.
Step 3 – Click on Install from zip file.
Step 4 – From the given list, select repository.castagnait.
Step 5 – From the list, select the option suffixed with .zip format and click on OK.
Step 6 – Head back, and select Install from repository.
Step 7 – Select CastagnaIT Repository.
Step 8 – Click on Video add-ons.
Step 9 – Select Netflix and click on Install on the next screen.
Pay heed to the text at the bottom that says that –
The use of this add-on may not be legal in your country of residence – please check with your local laws before installing.
Once you click on the Install button at the bottom right-hand side corner of the screen, and follow the on-screen instructions. The installation will begin and you will be able to see the download progress on your screen.
How To Stream Netflix On Kodi Securely?
To stay safe while enjoying your favorite Netflix content on Kodi, it is advisable that you use a VPN. That’s because using Netflix on Kodi without a powerful VPN may leave your IP address exposed considering that the add-in we just discussed is a third-party plug-in.

Here’s how you can setup NordVPN on Kodi –
Step 1 – Since OpenVPN is a prerequisite on Windows, here’s how you can put OpenVPN on your command path on Windows. In case if you are running on OpenELEC, or LibreELEC, OpenVPN should already come preinstalled.
Step 2 – Download the NordVPN zip file add-on from nord.app/kodi.
Step 3 – Attach the file to your Kodi device by either saving it to a USB flash drive or inserting it into your Kodi device, or you can download the file directly on your device.
Step 4 – In Kodi, go to Settings > System Settings > Add-ons and toggle on the Unknown sources switch as shown in the steps above.
Step 5 – Go back to the home screen of Kodi and click on Add-ons.
Step 6 – Once you are there, click on the package button from the top-left corner, and select Install from zip file.
Step 7 – Depending on how you attached the add-on zip file in previous steps, locate the VPN file and select it.
Once you follow the steps above, all you have to do is follow the on-screen wizard to install NordVPN on your Kodi. Enter your credentials and choose if you wish to start NordVPN at startup. Now, you can enjoy Netflix on Kodi safely.
