Netflix has rolled out a wonderful feature called Moments. It allows you to save and share your favorite scenes from shows and movies you have been binging on.

In this post, we’ll discuss how you can use Netflix Moments to save scenes, share them with friends, and rewatch saved moments anytime.

Where Can I Use Netflix Moments?

As of now you can save, rewatch, and share moments using the Netflix app on Android and iOS tablets and smartphones. You can’t use the Netflix Moment feature on your computer. And, if you have found a way to do that you can share that with us in the comments section below.

Still, if you wish to use the Moments feature on Netflix and see the effect on your computer, you can cast your smartphone to PC as shown here. In fact, there are many smartphone brands that let you mirror a smartphone screen onto a PC. For example, Smart Connect is available on Motorola smartphones. With one such app, you can easily mirror your smartphone on your PC.

 

Please note – To access the Moments feature on Netflix, you will have to subscribe to a premium plan because the feature is not available on ads-supported experiences.

How To Use Netflix Moment Feature?

First, let’s talk about how to use the Moment feature on Netflix –

Step 1 – Open the Netflix app on your Android or iOS device.

Step 2 – Open the episode or movie, the part of which you’d like to save.

Step 3 – Go to the exact timestamp that you want to add and pause. Tap once on the screen to bring up the on-screen options (play, pause, and fast forward)

Step 4 – Tap on Moments at the bottom-left corner.

Now that you have added or saved your favorite scenes, let’s talk about how you can access them anytime later. Also, let’s talk about how you can share them.

How To Access Saved Scenes?

Once you have clicked on Moments, the saved scenes will automatically be saved to your My Netflix tab. You can find the My Netflix options at the bottom right-hand side corner. Here you will be able to see all your saved scenes or Moments under Moments you have saved.

How To Share Moments On Netflix?

Now, let’s say, you don’t just want to keep those memorable scenes to yourself, and instead want to share them with your friends, maybe to pique their interest in a series you’ve been talking about. So, to do that, here’s how you can share Moments on Netflix.

Step 1 – Open the Netflix app on your Android or iOS device.

Step 2 – Tap on My Netflix at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 3 – If you have added many scenes to Moments, tap on See All next to Moments you have saved.

 

Step 4 – To share your favorite Moments, tap on the share icon next to a Moment. Choose the platform where you might want to share the moment.  You can share on platforms like WhatsApp, Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook.

Step 5 – The moment will be shared as shown below –

You can watch your favorite moments again and again, anytime on your preferred platform
