Well, good news for WhatsApp users, Dark Mode on WhatsApp has finally been launched for users who have the latest version of Android Q beta installed on their smartphones. The launch is however still not official.

Enable Dark Mode on WhatsApp on Android Devices Running Android Q :
Note: The following steps will work for users running Android Q.
Step 1: Launch WhatsApp on your Android Phone.
Step 2: Here click on the three-dot icon from the top-right corner of the WhatsApp screen and then click on Settings from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Post this, click on Display.
Step 4: Here click on the option Select Theme and then tap on Dark.
Step 5: Once you have enabled the Dark Mode in WhatsApp, go the Android Settings.
Step 6: From the Settings page, scroll down to locate About Phone option and tap on it.
Step 7: From the About Phone page, scroll down and look for Build Number. Once you are able to locate it tap on it for 7 times. This will enable to Developers mode.
Step 8: Post this, click on “Override force-dark”. This will help you apply any dark theme to the installed apps.
Step 9: Once you have enabled Dark Mode on WhatsApp, you still need to change the wallpaper of the chats so that you have the maximum experience.
Step 10: For this, launch WhatsApp, and go to Settings.
Step 11: From the Settings page, click on the Wallpaper and then tap on None.

Enable Dark Mode on WhatsApp on iOS Devices:
For iOS users, their Apple phones must have the version iOS 11 or later:
Step 1: Launch Settings on iOS device and then click on General.
Step 2: Here look for Accessibility and click on it.
Step 3: From the Accessibility window look for Display Accommodations and click on it.
Step 4: Here choose Invert Colors and then Smart Invert.
Step 5: Clicking on Smart Invert will enable Dark mode for all the installed apps on the iOS device.
Step 6: Once you have enabled Dark Mode on WhatsApp, you still need to change the wallpaper of the chats so that you have the maximum experience.
Step 7: For this, launch WhatsApp, and go to Settings.
Step 8: From the Settings page, click on the Wallpaper and then tap on None.
