Binance Bounty Reward
Whereas on the other side, popular cryptocurrency exchange platform Binance isn’t taking hacking in a light way. The company is offering $10 million bounty to informants who are willing to help them get the actors behind the bars.
The company Binance published the statement on their respective website saying that: “Binance is offering a $250,000 USD equivalent bounty to anyone who supplies information that leads to the legal arrest of the hackers involved in the attempted hacking incident on Binance on March 7th, 2018”.
Binance is concerned about the hacks and crime in the crypto environment.
The spokesperson said:
“To ensure a safe crypto community, we can’t simply play defense. We need to actively prevent any instances of hacking before they occur, as well as follow through after-the-fact. Even though the hacking attempt against Binance on March 7th was not successful, it was clear it was a large-scale, organized effort. This needs to be addressed”.
Binance has kept the future in mind and has deposited $10 million in crypto reserve for the purpose of future bounty rewards. On this, the exchange said, “We have currently allocated the equivalent of $10,000,000 USD in crypto reserves for future bounty awards against any illegal hacking attempts”. Binance has asked other platforms also to come in and join for the same cause.
Anybody who has information about the hacking event or about active hackers can drop a mail to Binance at email address: bounty@binance[dot]com.
