Enable Creation/Editing Path Variable of Application.

This setting enables creation or editing the path variable of the application.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista
This setting enables creation or editing the path variable of the application. The folders listed in the path variable are also checked if one program tries to start another program or if a command is entered in the Start -> Run box. This list should contain %SYSTEMROOT% and %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32, which means \Windows folder and \Windows\System32 folders. To remove a path from the %PATH% variable, just edit the entry and clear the field.

For this, you have to make changes in the registry. Go to "Start->Run" and enter "regedit" and click "OK". Search the key after creating the folder "\Session Manager\Environment". Create REG_EXPAND_SZ (expandable string value) Value Name called "Path" if not existing and set it to all path variables, separated by semi-colon.

After restart or logoff, changes take effect.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment\], right-click on "Path" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "User Defined Value for path" without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'. Once you are done. Exit from registy. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.
