Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
Generally, "My Videos" folder is found inside the My Documents folder and can be used to store videos. The "My Videos" folder may have the option to display thumbnail image of each file (AVI, DivX etc.) and play all of these files successively. If additional user accounts are created on your computer, Windows creates the "My Videos" folder for each account.

This setting enables you to change the default location/path of the "My Videos" folder.

For this, go to Start > Run, enter "regedit" and search the keys listed below. You can create "My Video" in "Shell Folders" key as string value, if this value does not exist.

Now, double-click the Value Name "My Video" under "Shell Folders" key, to define a new path in the Value Data field for storing your video collection.

Refresh view of your computer for the changes to take effect.

NOTE:
After changing the path you have to copy all your video files from the old "My Videos" folder location to the new location. Then, you’ll have all your videos at the new location. All subsequent videos will be saved at the new location by default.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

First, click the Start button, and select Run. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
