Remove Cookies from Internet Explorer.

You can clear all the cookie files stored on your computer through this setting.

Nowdays, most websites create Cookies on your computer. A Cookie is a text file that provides information like your name and interests and sends it to a web server, which stores it for later use. The main purpose of Cookies is to identify users and possibly prepare customized web pages for them. To maintain your privacy and security, you can delete these files using this setting.

NOTE:
The file index.dat will not be removed from the folder.

For this, go to Start > Run, enter "regedit" and search the keys listed below. Double click on the value name "Cookies", copy the Value Data and paste it in the address bar of Windows Explorer. Now, remove the contents of this folder manually.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders\] and double click on 'Cookies'.

Copy the default path for 'Cookies' from the value data box.

In the 'Iternet Explorer' window paste the copied path to open 'Cookies'. Finally select the files and delete them by going to 'Edit'.

Restrict viewing source in Internet Explorer (For Windows 98/Me).
