Open Web pages in new Internet Explorer window.

By using this tweak you can force Windows to open new instance of Internet Explorer each time.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000
If you want to open internet page you can do it on one of few ways:
1. Double-clicking an Internet shortcut (.url file) from within Windows Explorer.
2. Opening a URL by clicking Start, and then clicking Run.
3. Using a desktop toolbar, such as the Address or Links bar.

When this setting is selected, an open instance of Internet Explorer is used to display any Web site loaded using the above methods. But, content of previous page will be lost. By using this tweak you can force Windows to open new instance of Internet Explorer each time.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter "regedit" and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a DWORD value "AllowWindowReuse", if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value to "0" for creating new instance of Internet Explorer after using one of those three methods. However, if you want to use always the same instance of Internet Explorer, change the value to "1".

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

The web pages are opened in a new instance of the Internet Explorer.

Access to new web page overwrites the existing open link in Internet Explorer.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\] key, right-click on the right pane and click on "New > DWORD Value" to create a new DWORD value with the name "AllowWindowReuse".

Third, right-click on the 'AllowWindowReuse' DWORD value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the value "0" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
