Enable checking revocation of server certificate.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
Certificate revocation list contains all the serial numbers of the digital certificates, which have been revoked. The server verification requires it for checking but they are not trusted due to several possibilities like authorized person, certificate expiration date validity, matching of server name with the name on the certificate. Sometimes this list is not available, when the server is offline or the downloading is not possible. Therefore, to check on certificate revocation apply this registry setting.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the Dword value “CertificateRevocation”, in the right panel, to “1” which can check server certificate. However, if you want to revert to the original state, change the value data to “0”.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.
