Disable toolbars list in Internet Explorer (For All Users).

This setting can disable the toolbars list that is available in “Toolbars” sub-menu of “View” menu in Internet Explorer. It prevents users from messing with the toolbar display.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
The “Toolbars” sub-menu in the “View” menu of Internet Explorer displays a list of toolbars which are associated with the browser. These toolbars can be shown/hidden by applying/removing tick marks on the respective menu item.

This setting disables the list of toolbars available in the “Toolbars” sub-menu so you can’t change the current state of toolbars in your browser. For example, if the Address Bar is displayed and this setting is enabled, you can't hide the Address Bar. However, it does not prevent you from adding or deleting buttons from the currently displayed toolbars in Internet Explorer.

This setting is useful in a kiosk, library, or public outlets where you don't want users to change the toolbar display in Internet Explorer.

Important:
The restrictions will apply on all user accounts created on your system.

For this, go to Start > Run, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a DWORD value “NoBandCustomize”, if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value to “1” which can disable the toolbars list. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to “0”.

The changes will take effect after a restart or logoff.

NOTE:
This setting can be applied to Windows Explorer as well.
