Disable Windows Error Reporting

This tweak lets you disable the Windows Error Reporting.

Tweak for : Windows XP
This setting enables you to make the Windows Error Reporting disable. Normally, Windows asks the user to send the report of crash or bug, if there is, to Microsoft. It helps them to understand the problem and solve it. The report may also carry parts of the work you were doing at the time of crash. Therefore, you can disable this setting.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create some DWORD data value names in the right-panel, if they do not exist, to manage them suitably.

Create a DWORD value name “DoReport” in the right panel. Right-click it and modify the data value to “0” to enable the setting and “1” to disable it.

Create a DWORD value name “ShowUI” in the right panel. Right-click it and modify the data value to “0” to enable the setting and “1” to disable it.

Create a DWORD value name “IncludeKernelFaults” in the right panel. Right-click it and modify the data value to “0” to enable the setting and “1” to disable it.

Create a DWORD value name “IncludeMicrosoftApps” in the right panel. Right-click it and modify the data value to “0” to enable the setting and “1” to disable it.

Create a DWORD value name “IncludeWindowsApps” in the right panel. Right-click it and modify the data value to “0” to enable the setting and “1” to disable it.

Click “OK” and close the registry editor.

Restart the system or logoff to see the changes taking effect.
