Disable Error Reporting Details When Program Crashes

This setting enables you to make the "error reporting details to Microsoft" disable as the crash time dump may contain your personal/official information also.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003
This setting enables you to make the "error reporting details to Microsoft" disable as the crash time dump may contain your personal/official information also.

For example, at the time of the crash, you may be writing a personal letter or an official letter having some policy statements. The crash report may have some parts of that letter along with the system crash dump.

Therefore, the report must contain only about the system crash report and nothing else.

To restore the Windows default behavior, activate both fields. It can also be controlled by using Control Panel -> System -> Extended Tab -> Error Reporting.

For this, you have to make changes in the registry. Go to "Start->Run" and enter "regedit" and click "OK". Search the key after creating the folder "Error Reporting". Create REG_DWORD Value Name called "ShowUI" if not existing and set it to "0" to enable the setting and "1" to disable it.
